The Security Department is responsible for safeguarding guests, employees, assets, and property by maintaining a secure environment aligned with local authorities’ regulations, international best practices, and The First Group/SSB brand standards.

Job Description

The Security Manager leads the overall security and safety operations of Silver Sands Beach. This role ensures effective supervision of security personnel, implementation of preventive measures, emergency response planning, and consistent compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements. The Security Manager acts as the key liaison with government agencies and plays a major role in maintaining a safe, luxurious, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Security Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security strategies, SOPs, and daily operating procedures.

  • Monitor and control access to the property, ensuring secure entry of guests, contractors, and vehicles.

  • Supervise and schedule all on-site security personnel and outsourced guards.

  • Conduct routine inspections of the beach, perimeter, CCTV room, and all critical areas.

2. Incident & Emergency Response

  • Lead emergency preparedness efforts including fire safety, medical response, evacuation plans, and incident investigations.

  • Maintain and update emergency contact lists, risk assessments, and contingency plans.

  • Respond to security breaches, guest incidents, and operational emergencies in a timely and professional manner.

3. Compliance & Coordination

  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi civil defense, municipality, tourism, and labor regulations.

  • Coordinate with local authorities including police, civil defense, coast guard, and municipality officials as required.

  • Oversee documentation, incident reports, logs, and regulatory submissions.

4. Training & Development

  • Train security staff on customer service, emergency procedures, conflict management, and guest privacy.

  • Conduct regular safety drills, briefings, and refresher training sessions.

  • Maintain strong communication and coaching to ensure disciplined and professional performance.

5. Asset Protection & Technology Oversight

  • Monitor and optimize surveillance systems (CCTV), access control, and alarm systems.

  • Conduct security risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.

  • Ensure proper maintenance of security equipment and reporting of defects.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Saudi National (Mandatory)

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a security team.

  • Good understanding of security operations, emergency procedures, and guest safety.

  • Knowledge of Saudi regulations related to security and civil defense.

  • Experience using CCTV, access control, and basic security systems.

  • Ability to handle incidents calmly and make quick, sound decisions.

  • Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer-service mindset.

  • Preferred: First Aid/CPR, fire safety, or security-related certifications.
