Job Description

The Uniform Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of uniforms for our hotel staff. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our employees.

  • Receive, sort, and distribute uniforms to hotel staff, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Maintain a detailed record of uniform assignments, exchanges, and alterations.
  • Inspect uniforms for cleanliness, damage, and wear, and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Coordinate with the laundry department to ensure that uniforms are cleaned, pressed, and ready for use.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of uniforms, accessories, and related supplies, coordinating with the purchasing department for timely replenishment.
  • Assist employees with uniform fittings and alterations, ensuring proper sizing and fit.
  • Collaborate with the uniform department team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the uniform storage areas and equipment.
  • Adhere to uniform department policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries, concerns, and requests related to uniforms.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources and Housekeeping, to coordinate uniform-related activities and ensure compliance with uniform standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of uniform policies, procedures, and quality standards.

  • Proven experience in a uniform or related role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of uniform care and maintenance techniques.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills for record keeping and inventory management.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as boxes of uniforms.
